BRIG.(Dr.) M. N. Swamy is a highly accomplished Neurosurgeon with over 35 years of experience in advanced brain and spine surgery. He is currently serving as Director & Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at PSRI Hospital. He completed his MBBS from Mysore Medical College, MS (General Surgery) from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, and MCh in Neurosurgery from PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has also completed fellowships in Spinal Surgery and Neuroendoscopic Cranial & Spinal Surgery, along with an international fellowship in spinal surgery at Munich and OMIT Coimbatore. Dr. Swamy has previously served as Professor & Head of Neurosurgery at NSCB Medical College, Jabalpur, and held several senior positions at Command Hospitals of the Armed Forces Medical Services. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive neurosurgery, neuroendoscopy, complex spine surgery, and skull base procedures. He has pioneered innovative surgical techniques, mentored MCh students, and contributed extensively to neurosurgical research and education.
