Dr. S. S. Murthy is an accomplished interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in clinical and invasive cardiology. He has been affiliated with several esteemed hospitals, including Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, National Heart Institute, Escort’s Heart Institute in New Delhi, and Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon. Dr. Murthy completed his DNB in Cardiology at the prestigious National Heart Institute and trained under Dr. Ashok Seth at Escorts Heart Institute.
Specializing in complex coronary interventions, Dr. Murthy has been practicing interventional cardiology for over 15 years. He has performed more than 10,000 angiographies and over 500 angioplasties. Additionally, he is skilled in non-coronary interventions such as pacemaker implantation, device closures, ICD and COMBO implantations, peripheral stenting, and valvuloplasties.
Previously, Dr. Murthy served as a Senior Consultant in Invasive Cardiology at Fortis Hospital (FMRI) in Gurugram. He is currently the Director and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Ayushman Hospital, Sector 10, Dwarka.
